If you use Promolayer via the Shopify app, every paid plan comes with a 1-week free trial during which you are not charged.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from your profile in the dashboard. Plan changes take effect immediately.

When you upgrade, you are billed only the prorated difference between your current and new plan. For example, if you switch from Standard (¥7,000/month) to Professional (¥15,000/month) midway through the month, only the prorated difference for the remaining days is charged on the spot.

When you downgrade from a higher plan to a lower one, the unused portion is automatically credited and applied to your next payment.

So even if you downgrade mid-month, no payment is wasted — the next renewal amount is reduced accordingly.

Yes, you can cancel anytime. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

For direct signups (Stripe billing), canceling does not immediately switch you back to Free. You keep your paid plan features until the end of the current billing period. Once the next renewal date passes, you switch to Free.

For the Shopify app version, Shopify's billing policy does not provide refunds for unused time after cancellation. Please be aware of this in advance.

For direct signups, payment is processed via Stripe and supports major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Diners, Discover).

If you use Promolayer via Shopify, Color Me Shop, or another e-commerce platform, charges are consolidated onto that platform's invoice and follow that platform's payment settings.

Yes. Annual billing saves you the equivalent of about 2 months compared to monthly billing.

We send a notification to your registered email when you reach 80% and 100% of the limit.

Once the limit is exceeded, popups stop displaying regardless of platform, including the Shopify app. Your plan is not upgraded automatically.

If your traffic is consistently higher than expected, consider upgrading to a higher plan or refining your targeting to optimize impressions.
